You have a choice of two dental plan options available through Delta Dental of Virginia:
- Basic Dental Plan
- Premium Dental Plan
With both plans, you may select any dentist. However, if you use a provider that is in the Delta Dental PPO or Premier networks (i.e., “in-network”), you will pay less for your dental expenses. To see if your dentist is in network, go to Delta Dental’s website.
The primary differences between the two dental plans are the percentage of the cost (co-insurance) that you will pay for services, the plans’ annual benefit maximums, orthodontia coverage and the amount you will pay for coverage each paycheck.
